As child drowning incidents continue to grow, water safety advocates say infant swimming resource programming is the key to prevention.
A 2-year-old child drowned at a Fort Pierce home Sunday, according to police, marking the fourth drowning in the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast in less than a month.
At Live Like Jake, children are learning critical self-rescue skills through the Infant Swimming Resource program, which teaches them how to hold their breath, roll onto their backs to float and swim to safety.
